Concurrent to the annual meeting, the PLIA is hosting a special kids program that will be held in a room adjacent to the annual meeting. This exciting event will feature a New Hampshir Hampshire e Wild- Wildlife life pr presentation esentation fr from om the Squam Lake Science Center Center. Curious about the critters that inhabit the Granite State? Meet some of the wildlife you could see on a hike and learn about the features that suit them for life in New England. There will also be other activities like knot tying and word games to entertain the kids while parents attend the annual meeting. Babysitters will be on hand; donations will be accepted.

2006_Annual_Mtg_05The PLIA Annual Meeting with be held on June 2nd from 9am to 12 noon at the Nottingham School.

 Everyone is welcome. You will have a chance to learn more about living on the lake and recent PLIA activities. The Women's Club of Nottingham will be providing refreshments to benefit their scholarship fund. There will be information on water testing, fishing, wildlife, the Lake Host Program, our website, and several new projects and grants we have received.

Using last year's popular format, we will have an opportunity to discuss our concerns with the Town Panel including Fire, Police, and Marine Patrol. Another panel including State environmental people will discuss the larger issues of water quality. The meeting will end with a raffle where you will have an opportunity to win a new Kayak!
