A copy of the 1958 State Planning & Development Commission's study of how to develop the Pawtuckaway Lake area has been posted to the Downloads section of the web site. The study purposes to present the "most expeditious means of opening this area for development by either the state, the town of Nottingham, or private parties, or a combination of any of the same...". This document is the earliest formal plan proposing the building of a State Park on Pawtuckaway. This document was kindly provided to us by PLIA Member Henry Musial.
