According to an article in The Union Leader newspaper, the State is considering building rentable cabins in Pawtuckaway State Park to bring in more revenue. A committee has been formed to investigate ways for the Park system to raise more revenue and the cabin proposal is one method that is currently up for discussion. The committee is set to present its draft proposal by June 28th and then solicit public feedback before hearings are scheduled. What impact this would have on the Pawtuckaway State Park's septic systems, lake water quality, and boat overcrowding is not yet clear. |
