PLIA Members who have registered on the web site now have access to four new Members Only forums. These forums are designed to allow members to share ideas, discuss problems, and debate issues. Members Only forums are only visible to PLIA members who have logged onto the web site. They are not visible to the general public or non-registered members. PLIA volunteers have signed up as forum moderators and must review all submissions for appropriate content, language, and civility before publishing. The four new Members ONly Forums are: Website Ideas & Comments. PLIA Members should use this forum to share your ideas of how the PLIA web site could be improved. Let us know what is working and what is not. Remember, this site is for YOU Complaints Department. This PLIA Members Only Forum is a place to send your comments, complaints, approvals, etc. to the PLIA leadership. Is the PLIA meeting your expectations? Are there services you need that you feel the PLIA could meet? Are there too many or not enough volunteer opportunities? All suggestions and criticisms are welcome as long as they are presented in a constructive and civilized manner. Gardening Forum. This Forum is for posting information, questions, and answers about gardening on the lake. It is often a challenge to discover what grows here and this forum is designed to help members share their gardening successes and failures. Recipe Forum. This PLIA Members Only Forum is for sharing recipes with other members. Whether your grilling by the patio, having a picnic on an island, or making a pontoon friendly feast, this is the place find the lake's favorite recipes. It is always difficult getting a new forum off the ground. Please help us build some community spirit by posting questions and answers on these new forums! Viewing the interaction is great but, contributing helps encourage others. For example, the very first question posted on the PLIA forums had 47 viewings before someone answered the poster's question. Don't be shy, join in! |
