Elisabeth Danis is 8-years old and will be entering the third grade in Nottingham in the fall. She loves gymnastics, animals of all types, and best of all, swimming on Pawtuckaway. Elisabeth kicks off our new Pawtuckaway Kids section of the web site with a story about weasels. Weasels do not hibernate. Weasels move very fast. Weasels are very small. weasels smell bad like skunks, minks, and polecats. Skunks, minks, and polecats are part of the weasel family. Weasels make small tunnels. Weasels have a short life. Weasels bread in early spring to late summer. Weasels eat mice. Babies are born in late spring to late summer. New born weasels weigh about the same as penny. |
