2006_Annual_Mtg_05The PLIA Annual Meeting with be held on June 2nd from 9am to 12 noon at the Nottingham School.

 Everyone is welcome. You will have a chance to learn more about living on the lake and recent PLIA activities. The Women's Club of Nottingham will be providing refreshments to benefit their scholarship fund. There will be information on water testing, fishing, wildlife, the Lake Host Program, our website, and several new projects and grants we have received.

Using last year's popular format, we will have an opportunity to discuss our concerns with the Town Panel including Fire, Police, and Marine Patrol. Another panel including State environmental people will discuss the larger issues of water quality. The meeting will end with a raffle where you will have an opportunity to win a new Kayak!

Please join fellow lake residents at the Pawtuckaway Lake Improvement Association (PLIA) annual meeting. This year’s agenda includes:
♦ Panel discussions with representatives from the Nottingham police, fire department, and Marine Patrol
♦ An update on the Pawtuckaway Lake W Watershed atershed Impr Improvement ovement Pr Project oject from the DES
♦ A feature presentation from the New Hampshire Lakes Association Director Jared Teutsch. He will share the story of one New Hampshire Lake’s unsuccessful attempts to combat milfoil. He will also present recommendations for how we can prevent this ecological disaster from happening on Pawtuckaway Lake,
♦ We’ll also get an update on our own Lake Host Pr Program ogram and water quality testing pr program.
Plus, there will be food, raffles, and other information and goodies! Everyone is welcome!
