The Weed Watcher Program are planning their first Phragmites Expedition for 2008 on Saturday, July 26 from 9-12am.
The first wave of assault troops will leave at 9 AM from St. Pierre’s dock on Dolloff Dam. The others will join us at the target location for that morning at 9:45 AM near the Phragmites infestation to the left side-state park side (if you are facing the twin islands) which is parallel to the twin islands. Bring water shoes, bathing suit, smile, gloves, cutting devices, big black plastic bags. Let us know you’re coming. If we have time and enough troops we will hit other areas too! Email
